Forum: feature_films Subject: The "Deep Red" thread . . .

It is obvious that k-otic is right on track: cinemashock.net/Galacticat is punking the Internet Archive. This is so easily verified, that I wonder if anyone is home here? (I wondered the same thing last year when the Search function was down for weeks and weeks and weeks).

I can understand problems in Open Source where such a welter of films are checked in from everywhere. However, someone is blithely passing copyrighted films into Feature Films--not a large collection at all.

Admittedly, some cases involving PD can use the help of an expert like, say, Video-Cellar, but I'm talking right out in the open, simple as blackberry pie film parking. Anyway.

there is nothing to say against using IA as host for your movies as long as they are in the Public Domain .. but when i look at the titles i do have my doubts about that

it seems that they were never planing to get the movies to be moved into the feature film section .. they left almost anything blank
